APC was welcomed by number of ppl in the country because of the need for a formidable opposition and the need for change from some the practices we had been seeing.But lo and behold we are seeing some things which are not so democratic.Take for example Rochas Okorocha contested for the Presidential primaries.There was candidates not allowed to contest then in case he would not be able to meet up with the deadline for submission of names with INEC he brought his son-inlaw to pick the ticket to hold the forth.Then after failing in the presidential primaries.His son-inlaw withdraws only for okorocha to emerge again as consensus.is that change from what we have been seeing in the past? |
