Okay, before I go on, I would like to say that I am not using this medium to canvass for any support for any political party. I am not a fan of PDP neither am I a fan of APC or whatever political group. I am writing this based on what I have observed. So please every die hard fan of any party should please forgive me.

We Nigerians are striving to make this nation one and indivisible, but some are hell bent on making this nation their property because of their advantageous position, they feed on the insatiable need of the masses and behave like bulls with no restraints.
These people has turned this country into their personal chess board, using the masses as their pawn to get what they want, no wonder the statement was made, 'no permanent enemy, only permanent interest' and we fail to grasps the enormity of what is ailing this nation. Well, even though some seem to be having their way, some with time begin to fall short of what they wished personally for this nation.

As I looked at the history of this nation, I was taken aback with what I discovered. It occurred to me that all those who with every zeal, determination, affluence and whatever wealth they wield, desired to rule this nation by all means always end up fighting against the wall.

Let's look at that of MKO Abiola. He needs no introduction because even his name speaks volumes. When it comes to wealth, he was unmatched, when it comes to influence, he had no rival. He sought desperately to rule this nation but fell short of his bid due to the then head of state, IBB. Quite frankly, he won the 1993 elections, that was the best election Nigeria has recorded till date. He won the elections neatly but the then head of state, overruled it due to some reasons, and even when MKO fought for his 'right' he still could't get it.

Look at Obafemi Alowolo. He was described as 'The president, Nigeria never had' by the late Ojukwu. Awolowo, said in his infamous plead, 'If only he could be president just for one day, that would be all that he needed'. Now I don't know if his intentions were pure or adulterated, but that remark shows how desperate he wanted the power of this nation.

Look at Atiku, he served as the vice president, and had tried so much to be the president with no avail. I am not saying he is not capable, but the desperation is scary.

Now, looking at all these examples, and thos I did not mention, it shows that all thos who by all means want to rule this nation end up reaping the winding and someone else, who is less interested as it were, always end up in authority.

Now look at Buhari, I am not saying, he is the best or the worst, but his track record against history is not favourable. He contested in 2003, he lost to OBJ for what ever reason. He went gain in 2007, he lost to the late president, Yar' Adua. He went again in 2011 and lost to Jonathan. Now he is going again. Okay, I don't know if it is only me thinking or people are are also thinking, why is he so desperate to rule this country? After the first 3 times, isn't it enough for him to rest, but he is going again, if not that the age limit is 80yrs, I can bet that he would like to go again in 4yrs time if he loses this time. But why is he so desperate to have this nation. This got me thinking. Now I wish that the best man for this nation wins, but if we look at this we maybe forced to watch history repeat itself against those who are desperate for this nation

Power to Buhari is like water. He's addicted to it. That's the number one characteristics of Born to rule elements. Buhari will still campaign for President at the age of 90.
