Between the Sokoto State PDP & APC Governorship Candidates. The Speaker of House of Reps, Rt Hon. Aminu Tambuwal is the candidate of the APC in the coming 2015 election while that of the PDP is Ambassador Abdallah Wali. Tambuwal is married to Abdallah Wali's younger sister(from same father, same mother). Wali was elected as a Senator in 1999 and he took Tambuwal along to Abuja and made him a Senior Legislative Assistant. He also ensured Tambuwal was elected a member of House of Rep in the 2003 election. Tambuwal was elected again in the year 2007 and again 2011. In turn, Tambuwal as Speaker in the year 2011 facilitated Wali's appointment as the Nigerian Ambassador to Morocco. Now, they will be contesting against each other in the 2015 Governorship election.
