*The village had no military protection whatsoever although the insurgents had been making efforts to capture it. Wow! I believe the Nigerian military is over-stretched in this guerilla warfare.

Interesting, is it not obvious that Nairaland head quarters is in Lagos? exactly why a sane human being will hear of all the carnage going on and still wish to vote this incompetent administration again?
At what stage was the Iraqi war before the white house decided to employ the services of her seasoned war General, David Petreas? Nigerians will vote Jonathan no doubt because they are no victims of Boko haram, but very soon we all will be victims of high cost of living, Vote right, Vote smart.

If only the presidential candidates will stay in Borno for just 10days......

Security will be increased and Boko haram will be no more.

Instead they campaign and set 'em eyes on presidential seat.

It's a pity lives are not worth anything in this country.
