All i can say is thank God for artistes like lagbaja, dbanj, styl-plus, tuface, and others that keep our music Nigerian (African). Its annoying to hear an artiste that claims he was born, bred and a 100% naija faking an american accent. Does that really make them sell more? As for P-square i love the music but i have little reservations about them. Funny enough i like eedris and maintain but i can't stand ruggedman with all that beef shit (y would u want to adopt the bad parts of other people's culture). Some ppl might say he was trying to correct them but name dropping just means u r starting some kinda rift. My advice to any naija artist is let naija be primary then complement it with any other genre u want to, be it r'n'b, hip hop, jazz, rock, reggae, reggaeton or even classical tunes. I think that's what sells.
