Who is imitating who?
If the day I choose to remember the birth of my savior happens to fall in the same date with a pagan festival, is that imitation?
And would God be angry with me?

The origin of Christmas started with pagans, even the date coincide with it. It is history that what is being done today and most of the practices that goes with it all were imitation from paganism. You didn't grow up and invent this celebration on 25th, people who learned it from pagans began it. You just grew up and joined in.

The origin of those meat was from a offering of a pagan god. Christians that buy and eat the meat did kill and cut the animals themselves the only join others to buy and eat the meat.
Wasn't God angry with them for doing that?

Origin of the celebration, not origin of the meat. Habah! And people who buy these meat do not use it for a religious purpose anymore. Had it been that after getting the goat, they still use that goat to sacrifice to there own God, that would be false worship.

The issue of Christmas is the blending of paganism with "christianity". You are not imitating this people on a secular issues, but you brought there practice into a pure worship of God. That is false worship.

The meat sold there is not the celebration. the celebration was already over. If the meat is ultimately for the idol, it wont be sold. It will no doubt be burned.

There body is the temple of God and if eating that meat is a sin then they are poluting God's temple with pagan meat.
Paul believes whatever we do we do it for the glory of God, even eating. But yet he didn't strongely condemn eating meat offered to pagan gods. He even eat them himself and still declare that he did all for the glory of God.

Didnt you see when he said that anyone who does what stumbles his brother is sinning against Christ. Didnt you read that side or you ignored it?

Our individual bodies is not a temple of God. It is the composite body of the "saints" that is. I have told you that the meat being sold is no longer part of the ceremony. The ceremony has been made, and the meat were sold to others. If the meat were exclusively for the idols, it wont be sold. As far as the meat is brought out to be sold, it has lost its religious value.

Neither the apostles nor those who left those false worship initiated a similar celebration from that idol worship in a pure worship. They never imitated there practices. That is the point here.
