What happens when the President’s daughter gets married? You get Nigeria’s most expensive wedding. President Goodluck Jonathan‘s adopted daughter, Faith Elizabeth Sakwe, married her university love, Godwin Osim Edward, on April 12, 2014, in the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja. Reportedly, the couple were given at least 80 luxury cars as gifts during their traditional marriage on April 5, in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

A festival-like reception followed at the International Conference Centre attended by PDP chieftains, state polititians and celebrities. The ceremony was broadcast live on NTA and guests received gold-plated iPhones designed by Actress Tonto Dikeh’s boyfriend, Michael aka Malivelihood (don’t you wish you were there?) The newlyweds had a worldwide honeymoon touching down at Dubai, London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice and Rio De Janeiro.
