" In line with the Central Bank of Nigeria's Banker's Tariff, kindly be advised that from Tuesday, 23rd December, 2014, GTBank will be charging all cardholders an annual card maintenance fee of N100 (One Hundred Naira) only".

It is not a new thing...in developed world, annual fees on ATM card is charged; even as high as $25.

so if price of crude oil drop and the the dollar to naira has increase, should that warrant this new stealing? i bet that CBN will soon order banks to limit customers from withdrawing their money because of the current financial crisis.

how much do they incurs on card usage? Remember they are not really the one in charge of those medium(mastercard,visa,verve etc.)
