it is a reality in job searches especially in Nigeria. best you can do get the right professional qualifications and specialized certification and run your own consulting firm for a while to build experience. then apply for a higher position. 1 Like |

This age barrier thing... Sometimes I wonder why employers should hinge their emphasis on age rather than wat the young or old employee has to offer. |

Nigeria is a shithole. What do you expect? In saner countries, there are laws which forbid anyone being discriminated for employment due to race, religion, age or background, etc. 1 Like |
