Good Day Nairalanders.

Yesterday Morning I saw a missed call on my phone and as usual I tried calling back, the number I was dialling rang twice and the third went through a guy picked up the Call and said he's a Road Safety personnel on a site of a fatal accident at Abuja-Lokoja Highway that one of the occupants is unconscious,with no means of identification/name and my number was among his phone contacts.

The acclaimed Road safety personnel said I should send a recharge card so he would load it on the victims phone and he would use it to call me so I could verify the unconscious passenger.

But I wasn't convinced with his story so I asked my bro who works with MTN to verify d Acclaimed road safety officer's number that called since it was an MTN number. My bro later told me it was a scam that d number called from Lagos and not Abuja-Lokoja highway.

So We all just have to be careful this season.
