How much was he earning as a governor?
How much did he earn monthly as head of state?

Borrowing money to build a house as a worker is same as taking mortgage to build. There's nothing wrong in doing this. Your main problem now is Buhari could not gather bulk money to build a house and I maintain your corruption skewed brain is affecting your ability to decipher the situations surrounding the whole scenario.

I do not blame you and Shan George. Your mentality is so used to leaders who steal public funds to add to whatever pay they get from their salaries. Go to Europe and see past senior public administrators who still live in rented apartments on mortgage and take public transportation. With your mentality Nigeria will never attain it's millenium development goals. In your generation it's a crime not to enrich oneself from public coffers yet we say the youth should be allowed to take power from the older generation.
