Alternatively, Buy a zain sim card, insert it in your phone and visit dmc.ng.zain.com follow the steps. A message will be sent into your phone.

Visit zain Nigeria website, goto CustomerCare, then click log A request or http://apps2.ng.celtel.com/CS/

Here you will fill in ur Names,PhoneNo,Address and other reqiured details, then select Network Access Caterogy and GPRS Config.

Type you want to activate GPRS Activation with the Phone model and Series, then click reply by phone.
Trust me it works have done it any thing with zain problem they will answer with 24hrs.
