the fact that she is a pdp card carrying member and obiano is from apga. shows that if we decide to progress we must work together anambra needs an airport if we intend to generate up to 5 billion IGR

It is not true. Owerre airport is more or less a motorpark. Owerre airport can never even be #15 in the country. Those stats are very inaccurate..

Ikengawo:

Owerri airport is #4 more successful in Nigeria and I can tell you now that there are several Imo indigines in the US that don't even know their state has an airport so the success hasn't even begun. While the SE has an abnormally high concentration of airports, Igbos do an abnormally high amount of traveling. Enugu Airport is booming from recent numbers as is Imo and I'm sure Asaba and Port are doing well. These airports are ironically the least well advertised in Nigeria (we Igbos aren't good at advertising). With good advertisement we would probably need to add one in Aba and Anambra to meet demand.

With the second niger bridge coming on board to ease traffic especially on the niger bridge and the fact that asaba has an airport just 25mins drive away from onitsha does anambra needs it's own airport? I am just thinking Anambra should go for a modern railway transport system as a prority and may be much later build an airstrip from revenue generated from it'd rail transport system. Anambra could also give a marine transport a shot.
Does Anambra needs govt House?. Does Anambra needs it's own budget?.Okay! Why not share Governor with Delta-State?.Anambra-State is one of Nigeria's States with capital at Awka, if
You really know this!

Why not the other way round. Let Anambra build the airport and later build a modern rail line with the money made from the airport. Because from your assertion it is still two projects that they will still build.

instead of the money to be embezzled , my view is that let it be used for the Airport which would open up cities and created opportunities.

Stella should also look into the floating an airline that would boost the industry with trips to Dubai, London, south Africa, China that are very good business routes

Schematics:
You are not making any point. Let those airports shut down so that the air space will not be tight because whether enemies like you want it or not Anambra International Cargo/Passenger airport will stand soonest!

Bringing in billions? Where will that billions enter? Are we still operating regional government? Or you want people from another state to drive traffic for you just because you don't want them to build theirs. Let every state which wishes to build an airport build at the end of the day some of them will naturally shut down because there will be no customer traffic nor business to drive it.

Well said!
