There is certainly going to be end of year rush sales in Nairaland. Buyers should hold out for as long as possible. These guys need you money and it is a buyer's market right now. I watched CNN Late Edition this weekend and one contributor on the bail out plan for the 3 US Auto majors said that cars are not selling even with a tag of 2 for the price of 1 in the car shops. Japanese cars are also affected to some extent.
Today, prices of choice lands in Lekki and Abuja are either falling or stable. Year 2009 will certainly be interesting !!!

kingrd, If the naira continues its free fall like we've seen lately, you can bet that car prices are going up. Even at today's exchange rate, prices are going to be higher than the same car sold a couple of weeks ago.

If you are a buyer and you find someone selling stock that they purchased when the naira was stronger, my advice would be to seriuosly consider buying now in order to take advantage of the old exchange rate.
