Good day my dear gurus in the house ! I just got a Dell Latitude D510 laptop, and i intend using it to teach myself all Microsoft packages and graphic design. My question is, what are the first things to install on the laptop(such as Anti-Virus) as regards what i want to use it for, and where can i get free text tutorials online in order to achieve my goal. Antivirus - Avast, kapesky or AVG
Youtube for user tutorials or the program developers websites for basic tutorials.
NB: Basic office programs like Microsoft office are ideal. Google the other software's that might suit your graphics designing skills.

Buy the following softwares..

1. Avast Antivirus.
2. Microsoft Office package.
3. VLC Media player.
4. PES 2015 CD.
5. TVC.
..and any Utility softwares CD/DVD plate.. With time, you may need one or two packages in it like Adobe reader, Mozilla firefox browser, e.t.c.

Don't forget your 'modem'.

Cyberlink PowerDVD, Cyberlink photodirector,cyberlink Youcam, cyberlink power2go,Any DVD cloner Platinum and Ccleaner are good starter software's.

But as for the graphics design aspect! I recommend you buy/download microsoft fireworks for its so easy to learn since you are teaching yourself.

They are both the same thing! Microsoft sold it out to adobe! So a little changes and tools were applied on it. But I still prefer microsoft fireworks
