DR ALEX OTTI
(APGA)

Alex Otti is said to hail from Arochukwu

Ehi Na Uguru Ancient community in Isiala Ngwa South council area in Abia
Central senatorial zone.
According to a resident of the Umuru Otti’s

While at the University of Port Harcourt, Alex Otti distinguished himself by graduating not only as the Best Student of the Faculty of Social Sciences but also as the Overall Best Graduating Student for that year. At the University, Alex Otti not only excelled academically but also proved his mettle by taking on various roles such as the position of the News Editor for the school newsletter, Uniport Mirror. In addition, he was the treasurer for the University Chapter of the Nigerian Economic Students’ Association (NESA) in 1986 and subsequently became the President of the association the following year.

Alex Otti began his banking career in 1989 with the Nigerian International Bank, a subsidiary of Citibank New York where he worked in the Operations Department. Thereafter he moved to the then Nigerian Intercontinental Merchant Bank Ltd. While at Intercontinental Bank, he worked both in the Treasury and Financial Services unit as well as the Corporate Banking Division. In 1992, he joined Societe Bancaire Nigeria Ltd (Merchant Bankers), a subsidiary of Banque SBA Paris where he rose to the position of a Senior Manager. He moved on to the United Bank for Africa (UBA) as Principal Manager overseeing the Bank’s corporate banking sector for the entire South Division with the responsibility of growing the Oil and Gas business for the bank.

In 2009 he was conferred with an honourary Doctorate Degree by Babcock University and in 2012, an honourary Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Degree by the University of Port Harcourt.
Dr Alex otti in october resigned from his plum job as MD Diamond Bank to run for the governorship of Abia state under the APGA. Otti, has picked a lady, Dr. Eme Uche Eme, as his running mate.
Eme, is a renowned teacher from Ohafia in Abia north, studied political science at the University of Nigeria Nsuka (UNN).

These two gentlemen will be slugging it out in the arena come next month, both are qualified for the job, both has done incredibly well for themselves in their chosen career, share the same age bracket and are both popular with the people. Now my question is who between these two, who do you think will emerge as the governor of Abia State?
BTW, i mean no disrespect to other contenders but i think IMO that the real battle lies between these two gentlemen!

They both have incredible CV, but Abians are tired with PDP style of Government, the infact that Ikpeazu has pledge to continue Ochendo's elephant legacy project, with his son as state house speaker, wife Fed.House rep, Ochendo senate, has made it glaring that whoevr Ochendo picks to replace wuld b a mere puppet regardless of his education and experience, Ochendo wud still be in power even after moving to FCT. What we need now is a Man with no link to the old ways, secondly if an APGA Government can transform Onitsha less than a year in office, I Dnt see why Aba will not share same fate. Thirdly, Lookn at their experience in various field, my opinion is it's easier to rise thru d ranks of without merit in a Public sector, if u can kiss enuff ass (play d politics), but in private sector, it's mostly based on Merit. So I will vote for Alex Otti(APGA)

Btw, can't we for once support our own party APGA, so we can have a say in this Country

All Igbo States are Important, but please try to get my pointooo!.Why do you reason like that?.Why are more people going to Lagos instead of Oyo or Ondo State?. It is just because of its Larger Economy!. Abia & Anambra-State can also do same in Ala-Igbo if given The 'Right Leadership'.Which I believe They will get by voting Alex Otti!. Abia needs their Best to Change The State!.Anambra have got one now, Abia-State should be Next in other to bring about A Great Economic Boom in The East!.

Dr Ikpeazu is Abia State Governor come 2015.

Let Nwafor rebuild his father's ancestral hometown for all to see the difference between a son and a neighbour.

He has a 100 days target to silence his detractors by recovering and restoring the cityscape and serenity.

However, many illegal structures will go and many households and businesses will be affected.

the only way PDP wins is via rigging, bcus evrybody knows that Abians will vote Mr Alex Otti, while Mr Ikpeazu is a puppet, Ochendo the puppeteer!!! We are tired with that kind of Government.

Which Abians?

Stranger elements in Aba may be rich and influential in business but are still just vocal minority.

The only challenge would've been Umuahia but he has a solid structure there to deliver him hence no fears.

The only LGAs Alex Otti may win is Aba South and Arochukwu LGAs
