I bought a new new laptop, Del product below is a little information about the pc:

plz i want to knw how to activate the windows and i have also noticed that my laptop's bluetooth does not discover other devices and is not also been discovered by other devices.I dont know if its because my window has not been activated or if it could be a fault.

Log unto dell.com and install Bluetooth drivers. For activating, simply use activator programs.

As far as its a new dell laptop, the bluetooth drivers has been pre-installed.

Bluetooth is put on non discoverable on new laptops (dell). Put the bluetooth on first (Fn + F2) right click the bluetooth icon, click on settings, on the first tab, tick allow my bluetooth device to be discoverable. Restart your system and it should work.

There are some dell laptops where u have to right click on the bluetooth icon and click receive file before you can receive bluetooth files.

Re-Installing a bluetooth drivers is a worst case scenario as suggested by lexusg430 especially for a new laptop

As per windows activation. If your laptop is new as u claim, then windows has been activated for you already. You should probably be encountering register windows messages, which is irrelevant.

If indeed your new copy of windows has not been activated, you will need an Internet connection to activate it, which is quite simple. Click on activate windows now, enter your windows product key, and it will be activated automatically

pls don't use any activator if it is a brand new and has factory installed OS. Connect to the internet and click on activate windows through system properties that can be found on the control panel.

If you bought your laptop brand new with genuine Windows license, you should be able to activate it easily by following the procedure Etinosajay gave.
Plus when Windows 10 is released, you'll get a free upgrade. Try creating a recovery of your system on a flash disk or DVDs. This is important in case you run into trouble later on. you can always recover your original settings without doing a complete wipe and installing a fake version of Windows.

The Bluetooth issue will always be there..its windows error

Firstly you can try to fix the problem . You can see get help with activation errors . If your laptop is brand new with genuine windows license I think you should be able activate it easily . If you received a message saying that windows could not be activated , here are a few reason , you can try find out it . you can find more details here.... http://new8activator.com

a frnd did it for me.
he bought a windows 8 activator disc... i dnt really knw d other magic he did but it rily gave him tough time coz my laptop rejected d disc.
