A General And His Delusional Promises by Nobody: 8:17am On Jan 06, 2015
As I read through a summary of our General's campaign promises..I couldn't help but wonder how much lies a politician will tell just to get into office..The proposed N5000 each to 25million poorest nigerians allowance really cracked me up and got me thinking. .It got me wondering what the meaning of cluelessness really is. .
Here is a man who out of ignorance and desperation and probably under the illusion that he can solve all of Nigeria ' s problems in a day said he'll regulate and stabilise world oil prices.

His N5000 proposed allowance will cost the country N125 billion every month and subsequently N1.5 Trillion every single year...This is how he plans to spend the money of a country whose average annual budget is just above N4 trillion. A country with a teeming unemployed youths and need for massive Job creation. .Now we know who cares more about the stomach infrastructure but in a foolish way..

I pity for my country if our General should come back as our President! !

Apparently, his advisers are very bad at math. He probably is just saying things he thinks the people want to hear. My question has remained HOW?, Stop telling us plans and tell us how you intend to make them happen. till then, he should take a seat.

He will use his voodoo economics, like he did as head of state, fixing prices of commodity instead of allowing demand and supply determine prices of goods and services. Very unintelligent campaign promises. It only shows he is coming for the oil money once more. Well, It still remains a dream for him, because there is no vacancy in Aso Rock.

You that is good in maths, calculate how much the proposed #500 million earmarked for food by GEJ could go a long way in helping the people.

His supporters are exposed and highly educated Nigerians who have lived all over the world. You are the FOOL and the ILLITERATE. Bujari's N5000 for 25 million people is nothing new. Nigerians were getting it in the eighties. All southern students were on bursary when I was in university and northern state governments were paying people for going to school and university. Please use your brain, read wide and dont just reject something because it appears like something you have not seen before. Nigeria's actual GDP is close to $1 trillion and is lack of adequate taxation that is causing the fiscal problem. Jonathan and his government are not smart enough to convince us against social welfare programmes that are common place in the developed world and may actually be a fundamental right. The UN has minimum requirements for any human being on earth to have in terms of access to basic needs. Please don't even try to trivialise this. Buhari should make this promise at every campaign stop and go into contract with the Nigerian youth.

In any case the man Jonathan is so scared shirtless now, even he is ready to offer the same programme at N10000 for 25 million just to remain in power.

oil theft of 400,000 barrels per day @ $50/barrel equals $600million monthly. that is arround 114 billion Naira. stop this theft perpetuated by friends of the government, you will assist 25 million families.

For saying he will regulate global oil prices,Buhari is intellectually unfit to rule Nigeria.

Only a visionless party will hinge welfarism as a panacea for economic development.
However, I don't think APC leaders themselves believe this socialist policy is feasible. It is a political strategy. The idea is to design a "freebie" policy to hoodwink and lure Nigerians to their side and smurf themselves into Aso Rock.
