Chelsea are ready to pay Lionel Messi’s
£200million release clause to sign him from
Barcelona, according to reports.
The Blues have emerged as a serious option
for Messi in recent days, amid growing
speculation that he’s considering quitting
struggling Barca.
And the Daily Star says a deal is firmly on
the cards, with Chelsea willing to meet his
buy-out clause, along with offering him a
giant six-year contract.
The deal would blow rivals Manchester City
and PSG out of the water, and would be
difficult for Messi to reject.
