The fact that The Lord did not explicitly condemn homosexuality is neither here, nor there - there were lots of ills/sins He did not outright condemn. Slavery for example. What He did do, was point to the union between male and female as the biblically mandated one.

Honestly, I am not saying this new versions have changed the original concept of the bible. But its an issue of mis-interpretation. The bible to be honest was not written my English scholars especially the Old Testaments. It has been passed down from the Jews. "Female Child of Your Mother" is a complicated long sentence for a short word like Sister
