Qualifications/Requirements:

Knowledge of databases (MS-SQL or ORACLE) is a MUST

{II} Job Title:Network Security Engineer

There is an immediate opportunity for a Network Security Engineer supporting clients across different organization.

Reports To: Core Infrastructure Security Services Manager
Job Location: Lagos

Responsibility:

You will ensure the overall health and strong security posture of complex network architectures. The Network Security Engineer will be actively involved with all phases of security design, implementation, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and analysis of firewalls, IDSs, VPNs, Endpoint security, Data protection, security controls and policies.

Deliver proof of concept systems to customers and demonstrate technical capabilities leveraging customer data

Required Skills:

Minimum of a degree in any of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or in a related field

Should have at least 2 years’ experience

Basic understanding of Enterprise IT Infrastructure in the areas of Network, Servers and IT Security

Configure and maintain networks, VPN, firewalls, routers

Must be well versed in Windows environments, Active Directory, and SQL database

Ability to design, resource, conduct, status, and complete projects independently, with minimal supervision

Ability to work and adapt to project delivery demands in a matrix environment

Excellent communication skills both oral and written to clearly communicate with clients are a must

Two or more of the following certifications preferred: CCNP, MCITP, and CCSA

Basic Understanding of Partner –OEM: Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, Checkpoint, McAfee and Symantec
