Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom on Wednesday condemned the rising rate of murders in the state. Akpabio made the condemnation at the swearing in of the new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Uwemedimo Nwoko, and five new permanent secretaries in Uyo. He said that 168 suspected murder cases were reported in the state in 2014.
