seeing your political opponents as opponents and not enemies is what Jonathan has introduced to Nigeria. Buhari didn't do it and still doesn't believe this is the way it should be done. GEJ said nobody should die for him and Buhari said the blood of the dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood. Buhari arrested, beat, and exiled his enemies, Jonathan allowed them to win fair and free gubernatorial, senatorial, and LG elections, unit and attack him name on an hourly basis.
