It happened yesterday 16th january,2014 at the famous nkpor round-about,no one seems to know the exact cause of the disasterous fire,but it was rumoured dat a fuel tanker was offloading into the underground tank while d pump attendants were busy selling at d same time,suddenly d fuel drew fire from d exhaust pipe of one toyota camry dat entered d station,and to make it worse,there was a diesel tanker also there waiting to be offloaded.d whole station was ablaze in seconds,people lost properties but no life was lost.it burned for more than five hours but fire service in d area was nowhere to be found,when they eventually arrived,they met an angry mob who destroyed their vehicles nd chased them away wit weapons.

I hope nobody comes here to blame the lateness of fire service men on PDP or GEJ...we just have to be very careful with petroleum products. I quite pity the station owner.
