The Mystery of the Second Creation
Mark 15:25-38 (please read)


We have said it and sung it many times that we are new creatures in Christ. The question then is when was the new creation? We know that it was by the death of Jesus Christ but how did he create all things again? What were the dynamics?

Every action and timing of Christ on earth followed a divine protocol and were pointers to the past and the future. For instance, he was called the son of David according to the flesh. David exercised dominion over all the nations around him and was subject to none. He also had a perfect heart. So God used his life as an adumbration of Christ’s.

Watch this, David was 30 years when he became king over Israel, the records have it that Jesus started his ministry when he was 30. David ruled over Israel for 33 years. Jesus lived for 33 years on earth. But he did in 3 years what David could not do in 33 years. And so David in the spirit called him Lord in Psalm 110.

Now as an adumbration of the first creation which was 6 days and on the 7th day Elohim rested, we see Jesus following that particular order. Now watch this. Mark 15:25 said he was crucified in the THIRD hour (The time then was counted from 6am i.e 9am)

In Mark 15:33 it says that by the SIXTH hour, there was darkness till the Ninth hour.
Now in the order of creation, the third day was when the things in earth were created (Gen1:9). Starting from the firmament of the earth to the dry land and then to the lights of the earth, basically the first two days of creation was for space. The true light on earth (sun and moon) was not created on the first day but on the fourth day. (Gen1:14)

So it was not surprising that by the third hour on the cross (third hour minus sixth hour equals 3 hours) there was darkness on the earth. The entire earth was in sin. Jesus is the Light of the world, and if the light be hung on the cross, then on the third day of creation there cannot be created another light, Jesus shall be the only light and path to God. So the lights of this earth went off. And so in Luke in 11:35 Jesus said “Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness”

Now this dark earth can only be truly lightened when Jesus is dead. That is when he had paid for the sins of the world. David understood this mystery. And in psalm 119 he said “Thy word is a lamp unto my path” Now he was addressing God the father, then Jesus had not proceeded out of the Father, so he was the word in the father. “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God”(John 1:1) And so he called Jesus Christ the Light to his path.

Now Mark 15:34 said that by the ninth hour Jesus gave up the ghost. Now remember that he was crucified on the third hour, so the ninth hour makes it 6 hours on the cross. The old earth was created in 6 days, so as an adumbration the new earth was created in 6 hours. Now by the sixth hour he was in pains, and towards the end of the hour he died. As soon as he died the veil that separated the holies of holies from the common man was torn.

Now the implication of this is that there is now a new Adam. And as Adam lived in the Garden of Eden and had direct communion with God, so did Jesus restore such intimacy in a better covenant…

Are you are new creature or the old. All it takes to be a part of the new creature is to accept Jesus into your life, and then you can walk in the supernatural with God. We are new creatures in Christ in the new Garden of Eden (Ephesians 2:6) Are we going to eat of the forbidden fruit again, and fall short of his glory? This time men will not be thrown out to earth from the Garden of Eden but into HELL.

Am not a religious freak and wouldn't want to be drawn into dumb argument. But believe What u want, God created the world and not Jesus Cos they ain't the same. Shikena!
