Which people did he refer? You know Buhari didn't speak about this certificate thing until Sunday or so?

As for naming them in the affidavit, there are two options

1) The army had it and it "disappeared"

2) He thought the army might have had it because they were his employer. He filled his credit in the application form and maybe he just assumed the army will follow up, verify his claim probably by getting a copy from WAEC. The way verification works is, GMB authorizes WAEC but it can't come to him directly they'll have to send it to the institution that needs the verification.

He swore an affidavit referring INEC to the Army. INEC published this according to the law seeking Nigerians to scrutinize and raise concerns if necessary. Hence by extension Buhari swore an affidavit referring Nigerians who may be interested to the military secretary and Nigerians responded.

No he didn't. PDP raised this alarm, normal process would have been go to court. Court might have required the army to release what they had with them. What kind of jungle system are you describing that anyone will just be able to go to the army to ask for people's credentials

I was dissapointed myself.

They allowed themselves to be used for political propaganda and nearly threw him under the bus . It is a shame

Is either u haven't read the two statement very much well or u have comprehension problems

Military spokesman or whoever issue d first statement talk in generality (military’s tradition of keeping photocopies of service men)

The second statement is directly to buahri

Why is INEC required by law to publish the credentials of all candidates if it is a private matter?

you cant take part in an election where one of the pre-requisites for taking part in that election is achieving a certain certificate or educational level and then turn around to say your credentials should be hidden away from the electorate because it is a private matter

you cant have it both ways!

the law says SSCE or equivalent. the law even went on to say 10years in public service. A lot could be used in the place of credentials, publishing credentials is not required, publishing what was filled is required. Now if you say otherwise, refer me to where they published the other candidates' credentials. You know there are 12 others right?

It is as simple as that. No Army will leave cache for its enemies. The border is difficult to move in ammunitions for Boko Haram to go buy in Libya as usual as Chad and Cameroon have tighten all loose ends so shekau needs new supply route, so the case is now "WHY GO ABROAD TO GET SOMETHING CAN GET ON BOARD"

I have no doubt that JonaTAN's political special army within the NA are being deployed to satisfy a specific role. admiral murtala nyako said as much, he was a naval officer, he has connections within the military,

JonaTAN is out to destroy the North East and its real now. Admiral Nyako was right.

Just continue saying nonsense that you can't back up on the cyberspace, when you are picked up for questioning, hope you will "Co-operate fully" with the Security agencies.

Buhari has only himself to blame.

First he told us his credentials are with the military board.

The military board said they were not with his originals only copies.

The crux of the issue were not course certificates attended but his WAEC which the military has shown that Buhari was given admission into the then Army College based on a referral only from his supposedly Principal.

Prior to all this, Liar Mohammed told us Buhari's credentials were destroyed during his time in the klink by soldiers sent by IBB to ransack his dwellings.

Only for us to wake up today and finally have a badly forged document with no historical consideration since Buhai claimed he sat for Hausa language in 1961 WASC when that subject was not introduced into WASC until 1976!

All our institutions are not only worthless, they've all been dangerously politicized and compromised. They spend more time fighting political battles than they do protecting Nigerians and fighting terrorists.

They've handed over a whole state and chunks of Nigeria to terrorists, but their crooked and unpatriotic masters still promote them and give them national awards..

I do understand the fears within the military leadership of course, they share the same fear with jonaSATAN and his crew because they know with BUHARI in power, they have to account for the yearly $6 billion they steal, how and why they poorly equip the military and who is supplying BH with weapons...

GEJ/ PDP, very desperate right now with the reality on ground.
I won't be surprised if they are behind the disappearance of GMB's certificate from the army. Have you wondered why the military will have record of his result and not have the copy of the certificate. How did they get his result? By word of mouth? They propably didn't think that results can always be generated by the examining body once the name, exam number and date are known. Come to think of it, GMB remembered his exam number of over 50years ago. So much for a man who they claimed can not remember his phone number.
If you think for one second that Buhari doesn't have his certificate in his possession then you don't understand politics. He's making PDP look really foolish by letting the issue drag on and bit by bit he's letting the public see the desperate, idealess, criminal brotherhood its members really are. They can't even see that they're buying him the best publicity for free through their idiocy of focusing on laughable, mundane, and irrelevant issues. PDP is desperate, they know Nigerians can see through their charade and they want to keep power at all cost.

This whole issue is really getting interesting by the day.

GMB should not be scared or deterred by all these accusations;
Fighting corruption in Nigeria is like putting your life on the line;
Just imagine you fighting the Mexican drug cartels, it can never be easy;
They have agents in the Military, Police, DSSS, Customs, Navy and in every government institution;
The masses are the ones bearing the brunt of the mismanagement of Nigeria;

I believe victory is certain in the end.

The Army is repositioning and re-adjusting itself to meet the standards expected of a Government institution in a democracy under the rule of law. I see no wrongdoing on the part of the Army in this whole saga. Buhari is the one who dragged the Army into this mess. Buhari has been running for elections for 12years now and should have within this period approached the relevant institutions to obtain Certified True copies of his qualifications. I am talking about institutions like WAEC who will actually have his certificate if he has one.

The initial statement of the Army was a general statement or blanket statement which reflects the norm or normal practice. The Army said it has copies of certificates for all retired and serving officers. As members of the public continued to seek Buhari's record then the Army conducted a search and unfortunately discovered that Buhari had a unique situation which they had no choice but to make public.

The Army under the FOI act is bound by law to release this information.

I see no foul play here on the part of the Army. What transpired between Buhari and the Army simply reflects the times we live which unfortunately Buhari does not belong to eventhough he likes to deny this fact. we live in a different Age and the Army acted accordingly.
Can you explain to us how the position of the army two days ago become different from what they said some weeks ago?

They are definitely not as criminal minded as Buhari to usurp the constitution and oust a democratically elected Government. Hence they will never achieve what Buhari achieved.

Don't know if anyone else in Nigeria will!
Buhari's achievements as an officer came before he became Head of State.

You're a seasoned First class liar. FYI, Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba languages were entry requirements into the University of Ibadan as at 1962! This logically implies that these major Nigerian languages were written as high school finals in 1961. Bring up another lie!

Bros! Truth be told...we have NO army! Our army died when OBJ left office.
.
This is clearly a ridiculous assertion. Was our army ever alive? Is it not mostly the same crop of soldiers that were employed into the armed forces during OBJ's regime that are still there now? What has changed other than the fact that the Military is facing it's first real test since the civil war (forget the useless peace keeping activities; that's not the same as full-blown war)? It's annoying the way some of you attribute all kinds of phantom achievements and powers to OBJ.
