King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz died early on Friday, January 23, according to a statement from the Royal court.  The King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has died at the age of 90. King Abdullah died early on Friday, January 23, according to a statement from the Royal court. No exact cause of death was cited but the king had beenhospitalized for a lung infection on December 31. Abdullah’s brother, 79-year-old Crown Prince Salman has confirmed the king’s passing in a televised passing and also announced that he had ascended the throne.
