Man Utd makes N200m move for Milan’s Nigerian wonderkid

SIR Alex Ferguson is lining up a swoop for yet another of Italy’s brightest youth prospects.





The Manchester United boss is hopeful of completing a deal to bring Nigerian-born Milan youngster, Wilfred Osuji Chinoye to Old Trafford next month.

The 17-year-old is close to breaking into the San Siro side’s first-team squad and has already been given a squad number.

But it is though he would relish the prospect of joining up with fellow Italian youngsters Davide Petrucci and Federico Macheda as part of Fergie’s next generation of fledglings.

Chinoye - an energetic midfielder who is considered one of the jewels of Milan’s fabled youth set-up - is believed to have visited Manchester already ahead of a possible move.

The Italians are desperate to hang on to the midfielder but a bid in the region of £1million (about N200 million) could tempt them to cash in.
