I often hear people say this very person or that very person is my hero, so I came up with this topic. I would like to know who your hero is, what your definition of a hero is and why the said person(s) is/are your hero(s).

my hero is my father's brother who heroicly died in the civil war fighting for nigeria even though i have never met him, my definition of a hero is someone who people will talk to,
someone you can emulate, someone who leaves behind a legacy, someone who the next generation and the generation after talks about admirably.
