Please can anyone suggest where to get help in Lagos for an alcoholic addict apart from prayers because so much of that has been done. The victim is a guy of 29 years old. He is addicted to the point that he finishes his salary within a week of collecting it and goes about begging friends and families for support. He lives with his mum and makes life a living hell for the woman. Anyone with any useful information on where to get a rehab , physiologist or even drugs that could be of help.

If you have access to internet as i suspect you do, why not utilize google search engine.

I do not live anywhere near nigeria otherwise i would have better idea.

I searched google and i found a couple of seemingly good rehab centers located in nigeria: lagos and abuja.

In fact, someone made of a similar post here on NL in 2008 i found on googling. Why not use NL search engine: type in "drug rehab" see if it pops out. People gave out info there.

I am on my iphone so can only do so much in copying and pasting info but if no luck in finding info, let me know and i can copy and paste info for you from laptop later.

Check with a psychiatrist and/or psychologist as this is a mental health issue and they can help him understand why he feels that he needs so much alcohol in his life.
