Vacancy exist in a Financial Institution for the position of Compliance Officer.

Manspec as stated below:

Educational Qualification: A good university degree, preferably in a finance or business related discipline. Must be an Associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA).

Cognate Experience: A minimum of three (3) years post –qualification experience in Audit

Job Description:

• Review General Ledger and related accounting reports for accuracy and integrity
• Monitor regulatory returns for prompt and accurate submission
• Co-ordinate the efforts of external / statutory auditors
• Perform ad-hoc investigative function
• To assess the adequacy of controls established by management to manage business risks
• To make recommendations on processes for assessing and controlling business risks at all levels of the organization
• To ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources
• To ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (SEC, NSE, EFCC, NDLEA, CBN)
• To ensure the implementation of policies adopted by the management and board
• To ensure the existence of good corporate governance in the organization.
• To assess and make recommendations on business risk management and controls
