Fernando Torres may be on the bench against Bolton at Anfield, having missed the last five games with a recurrence of a hamstring problem.
Javier Mascherano, who missed the draw at Arsenal last weekend through illness, is also available again while defender Martin Skrtel is close to a comeback after a serious knee injury.

Liverpool enter the Christmas period top of the league for the first time since 1996. Sammy Lee continues to stand in for boss Rafael Benitez, who is still recovering from a kidney stones operation.
The Spaniard is expected to be back on the bench for tomorrow's game though, as Liverpool bids to complete a calendar year without losing a home league game.

Bolton manager Gary Megson should again select from an unchanged squad. His team haven't been impressive of late,and added to that, Anfield is close to being a fortress. Liverpool are always quite strong at home.

So the odds are in favor of Liverpool for this one.  .  .
