Finding software to convert music and videos without paying is easy, but typically comes
with some downsides. When you attempt to download the freeware, some other apps

If you are already have VLC on your computer, you will be happy to know that it plays
pretty much all audio and video formats, it can convert them as well. Here is how you can
convert between formats in VLC:

Step 1: Go to Media > Convert/Save. Click Add and find the file you want to convert.

Step 2: Close to Profile, select a format from the drop-down box. Ensure you select a
format supported by the gadget you wish to play the converted media on.

Step 3: Select a destination and name for the converted file, and then click Start.

Note: If you are converting a bulky video, you will see the timer on the player move as it
converts to the new format.

Though the VLC application lacks bells and whistles when it comes to conversion, but it
does get the job done in a tweak.
