The plot to force the
Independent National
Electoral Commission (INEC) to shift the February general
elections has taken a new dimension, reports Premium
Times.

The Presidency and the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP), which are allegedly pushing for the postponement, are planning to instigate protests against INEC as a way of forcing the commission to postpone the February 14 and 28 general
elections .

The plot is to mobilize
women and youth groups across the country to organize protest against the
commission.

The protesters will march on the streets, INEC headquarters and state offices with placards, complaining about the electoral body’s refusal to
deliver their Permanent Voter Cards [PVC] to them.

They would then demand for a postponement of the
elections so they would not be disenfranchised.

This whole crap isn't about PVC whatsoever, it is about Jonathan's unpreparedness for the contest.

He busied himself stealing and fighting against perceived enemies when he had time on his hands instead of delivering on the promises he made the electorates in 2011, thinking this day would never come. He was living in his own world completely insulated from the realities on ground. Now the elections are here and defeat is staring him eyeballs to eyeballs, and he now seeks to use whatever means he has to buy more time and prepare some more or scuttle the process entirely.

Your plans will fail mr President. Elections are gonna hold in FeBuhari and if you don't feel prepared enough to go to the polls, simply bow out and stop making moves that would further imperill our fragile democracy and national security.
