Hello House!

A friend of mine wants to sell his car, but has told me that the car has a brain box problem, although he claims it can be fixed.
my fear is that, even if the brain box is fixed, the problem will still come up. Guys please, i dont know much about cars or mechanics.
can anyone help? does brain box reinstallation offer permanent solution or is the similar problem likely to occur?
