my camry 2003 does not drive when "D" is selected..(even gear 1 & 3 wount work). it will be as if the car is in neutral "N" mode.... but after a while, it will suddenly start driving .... then it will stop, even of I press accelerator , it will not drive, after will will engage again. But when I select reverse , it will run smoothly. pls what are the likely cause of this.' |

Primary ATF pump has failed. Either replace pump or entire transmission. |

ChrisChino:From what you have described, its not a sensor issue. If you are still in doubt, get ur transmission scanned. |
