Gov. Rotimi Ameachi of Rivers and Director-General of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Organisation on Sunday visited Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa in Dutse.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the two governors held a closed -oor meeting at the Presidential Lodge,Dutse, which started at about 10:05 a.m. and ended by 11:30 a.m.

Lamido is the Coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation for North-West zone.

Lamido drove himself in Peugeot 206 car without speaking to journalists and returned to his official resident after the meeting, while Ameachi who also drove himself in a black Toyota lLnd Cruiser jeep with a few escort to the Government House, equally declined comment when approached by journalists.

Ask yourself if Lamido was trying to negotiate, why is Amaechi the one going to visit him? Wouldn't it be the other way around?

Fact is, as far as politics and politicking is concerned, Amechi is a big asset.

Still being gud friends despite their present party leanings,amaechi obviously went to tell lamido that there is still a window of opportunity for him to join the gmb train because victory has even become more certain.He also agreed to put in very strong and favorable words for lamido because APC are about to slam the door shut to any new decampees till after gmb swearing in on may29.

chei, is not good to follow a clueless leader, he will definitely rub you with cluelessness so much that you will begin to reason upside down. If Amaechi will return is it Lamido that his legs are not balance in pdp that he will contact? You are a Jonathan duplicate.

Like play like play, Amaechi has turned himself into a national politician.. Currently, he is the most loved south-south politician in Nigeria unlike those other ones who have remained local champions because of the crumbs they get from Aso rock's dining table.

You think these guys will want to sacrifice their political future in their region for someone from another region? Lol.. I laugh in hausa.. They are just pretending for now to avoid efcc and presidency wahala. Lamido of Jigawa, Yuguda of Bauchi, Babangida of Niger, Dankwambo of Gombe, Yero of Kaduna and co are just deceiving GEJ. On election day, they will allow their people's vote count (and we all know who their people want). Nobody will go the extra mile to rig for GEJ in the north except that person is suicidal.

thats your own mindset and thinking but not to people in my own area... the prefer to vote for President jonathan because all the political thiefs from PDP have gone to APC(dont want to mention names). so who are the new ones who will change Nigeria when they are the ones who ruled earlier and nothing special came out of it
