The UK Guardian earlier today published an article written by popular author and novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

The article revealed that Chimamanda battled depression and also listed the steps she took to control the ailment. It is an article which aims to motivate many people around the world who battle the illness. The UK Guardian later removed the article saying it “was launched in error.”

This article was deleted on 1 February 2015 because it was launched in error, without the permission of the author following a technical error. The Guardian apologises unreservedly to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie."

ibeandrew7:

Its because our government is incompetent and can cover up misdeeds using lies. The masses're mostly illiterate and most Nigeria media houses are corrupt enough to sing praises to the highest bidder.

Unlike us, most western media houses're investigative and do not accept official reports, they investigate and come to a conclusion.
Investigative reporting in Nigeria only leads to the conclusion in the first paragraph. The government cannot sue a company when all evidence presented against it is real. Going through a court case would result in insult upon injury because they'd surely lose.
