[size=18pt]The desperation of President Goodluck Jonathan and the political mafia of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to retain power by all means and at all costs is going to destroy Nigeria, because using tribal bigotry and sectarian prejudice to exploit the widespread intellectual ignorance of the Nigerian masses is only dividing Nigerians and worsening the North-South dichotomy that will destroy the political stability and national unity of our sovereignty.

We must not be fooled by the twisted news reports of the spin doctors of President Goodluck Jonathan and People's Democratic Party (PDP) to exploit the gullibility and widespread illiteracy of the Nigerian masses, including the youths who were born in the late 1980s and early 1990s who don't know the facts on the military leadership of Gen. Muhammad Buhari (retd) for only 20 months (from December 31, 1983 to August 27, 1985), because majority of the members of his administration and Supreme Military Council (SMC) are now leaders of the PDP. And they include, Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni (retd), a former minister under Sani Abacha's military junta that executed Saro-Wiwa and eight other MOSOP leaders (the "Ogoni Nine" by hanging on November 10, 1995; Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd) who annulled the June 12, 1993 presidential election (still rated the freest and fairest presidential election in the history of Nigeria) and denied the winner the late MKO Abiola of his mandate and becoming President of Nigeria; Senate President Col. David Mark (retd), a veteran ally of General Ibrahim Babangida, whose coup-making days go back to the 1970s and 1980s.
They committed worse atrocities during the regime of IBB and Abacha and they are now chieftains of the PDP and now attacking Gen.Muhammad Buhari (retd) who was not part of the regime of the evil genius IBB and not part of the despotic junta of Abacha who hanged Saro-Wiwa and eight other MOSOP leaders in 1995.

The only reason they are desperate to prevent Buhari from winning the presidential election in 2015 is to retain power so that they can continue to keep their multimillion dollar oil blocks, fuel subsidy contracts, fertilizer contracts and other over-invoiced inflated contracts allotted to them since 1999.

They don't give a damn about the national security and welfare of the Nigerian masses and we all can see how President Goodluck Jonathan has abandoned the search to rescue the missing Chibok school girls since April 14, 2014.
When was the last time you heard him mentioning them?
He never even paid condolence visits to their families when 11 of their parents died from heart break and attacks.

President Goodluck Jonathan did not even pay condolence visit to UNIJOS. And he is comparing himself to President Barack Obama who called for a national vigil after 20 school children and 6 teachers were killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December 14, 2012.

To add to what this writer has said, Adamu Mu'azu, the current national chairman of PDP was among the 10 governors in the North that signed sharia bill into law as a governor of Bauchi state then. But today, nobody talks about that. All PDP does in every election yr is to malign and sponsor propaganda against opponents in other to remain in power even when they have nothing tangible to show for the 15 years they have been in power. For how long does the PDP think this tactics will work for them? Nigerians are growing.
