It is just sad that many Nigerians will be disenfranchised in this year's election owing to what I saw today.

We got to Coker primary school, the center where we registered for the voters' card by 8AM this morning for the PVC. It happened that all the registered electorates in Coker as a whole were told to come to this particular primary school for their PVC.

We were about 20 ppl as at this time waiting for INEC officials - all are Igbo men and women who confessed there interest to cast their votes for PDP both at state and federal levels.

We waited and waited until many got tired and left. But while few left, may more came. As at 12noon, we were over 200 people but INEC officials were still not in view. They did not come until 1:00PM.

There came two men led by a woman who should be in the same age bracket with Buhari or perhaps older. she is so old, weak and confused that all she did there was fumbling from paper to paper with trembling fingers.

The number of people soon got to 400. The growing number of people wasn't actually the problem. What really scared every everybody was how clueless this woman and her team became. It took virtually 2hrs to attend to 5 people. And if anybody had counted, the number of unclaimed PVC's in their possession were nothing less than 20,000 yet they ended up not attending to up to 100 people.

To cap the ugly situation, at about 2hrs into the sluggish issuing of cards, some members of APC came and hijacked the exercise, against our effort to remind them that it was not a party affair. At this point, they started issuing cards based on whom they think will vote for APC.

Is this how INEC will conduct their so-called credible elections?
