Yea it's possible but U have to convert the ammonia to nitrites

yes, I believe it's very very possible and good, especially for vegetables. am speaking from experience now. I used to rare fish in small scale in my farm. I discovered thet the pathway that my water flowed through when I drain my pond produce huge cucumbers. it's was fascinating.

Am planning on testing it right now...

Jasper7 gave me some cucumber seeds so I plan to water it with my waste water from my fish tanks...

That is what is being used in aquaponics, one needs to taste watermelon or strawberries grown aquaponically. (Growing crops without soil bt using purnice/ballast as a base, as d waste fishwater goes thru d plant it purifies it ready to b used again) See the cabbage grown aquaponically and do take note of the stones it is grown on.
