pheliciti: is that the lies you guys use to pacify yourselves, that FGN frustrated Fashola's rail project. Kindly show us here GEJ frustrated fashola. If not thou art yet another apc lier. And where did you get the idea that state rail projects should be a federal government's responsiblity? APC lying to themselves since time immemorial. 2 Likes |

[quote author=spott post=30439299]Nigeria and Mexico approached China for credit facility to rebuild their railway systems (and other infrastructures). They both got the credits. Look at what each country did with the money. Are you not being short changed? Don't you deserve Better? PDP generated 4,000 MW @ $32.4bn in 16yrs while China Generated 22,500 MW @ $26bn Mexico took funds to upgrade not as in naijas case reactivation of railway system.doesn't it bother you that indispensible parts of the system (apc) you term change where among - until recently - the PDP which generated 4000 mW in 16 years? Blaming sins of PDP on gej is like you being jailed for crimes commited by or dad.that isn't justice. 1 Like |

Hehehe. Election time, and all the 'projects' appear, as if by magic. Well . . . I have been on high speed trains in France, Germany, China. Even if PDP promises to bring them all to Naija, they ain't smelling my vote. Not even coming within a whiff of it. I simply cannot stomach another 4 years of big fat lies, unadulterated BS, gross ineptitude, and pure, unbridled presidential Stoopidity 'stealing is not corruption' 'America will know' 'New year is tomorrow' 'I will use technology to fight corruption' 1 Like |

The trains will start running within the next three years, say by 2018. Politicians can lie. This government was there for 6 years, there was no speed train, now you are about to be sacked suddenly speed train is coming? 2 Likes |

tonytony208:You see how illiterate you are? You want to disseminate opinion without acquiring knowledge. Please check the Exclusive Legislative List (if you know what that is or where to find it) and confirm who's responsibility railway is. I'm sure if you read some more you'll know of GEJ's refusal to promptly approve FG's rail corridor for Lagos State's use. I can see what Lagos is doing on its rail project which it started from scratch. Note on the other hand that there isn't adequate budgetary provision for the FG project you are excited about, especially as the Capex head of the budget is now just $2 billion. |

alaoeri: its not late... rail revival has been happening, haven't you read of people's testimony of the train journey they took? train wasn't available for use but now, step by step, or little by little, the whole country is getting wired up. I would say that GEJ be given exclusive power, even beyond 2019 to connect the whole country by train... wishful thinking but we can only wish (or at leaset the next ovt. will continue from wher he lefet off). Question for you btw: if Buhari did not cancel the train plan for Lagos in the 80s, and if past governments, had at least, built even in a section of the country, trains and railways... where do you think we would have been today? |

pheliciti: it was your presidential candidate that abolished the first effort at building that light rail. And to reward him for his callous and backward act, you make him your presidential candidate. That is how apc hope to establish CHANGE in Nigeria; by tying nigerians to a past we desire to forget. |
