had hits like gongo aso, street credibilty , photocopy , kinda life etc
its eveident his album was hot cake, cos his hit single gongo aso was like an anthem in naija from january even till now
the album has party tracks like gongo aso and party rider and it also has songs with messages like photocopy, kinda life and street credibility

For me,the album of the year was no doubt Asa's self titled album--in my opinion,It was the only PRESS PLAY album of 2008.I could listen to it from track 1 to the last track without skipping a track unlike all the other albums.Added to this is the fact that she's a complete musician as she performs live on stage unlike all d other artistes who are just studio artiste who mime on stage.
Apart 4rm that the album was thought provoking,issues oriented & the language was deep.
My only regret was she was robbed in d major award shows--MOBO n MAMA.
The album is definitely a CLASSIC--an album for all time--as in,e no get expiry date.Its an album I'll still be feeling 50yrs 4rm now when my love 4 rap & hiphop would have faded out.I can't say same 4 the other albums.
