Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom State’s
health condition has deteriorated and had been
flown from the United Kingdom to Germany
following his collapse at a function in state few
days ago, newspunch.org has exclusively learnt
again.

Fresh report reaching newspunch.org form some
close allies suggest that the governor’s health
condition has deteriorated and had been flown
from United Kingdom to Germany.

Akpabio’s collapse was attributed to the sudden
endorsement and defection of former governor of
the State, Victor Obong Attah from the ruling
Peoples Democratic Party to the opposition All
Progressives Congress.

Attah publicly endorsed the APC candidates in the
State, despite being a BoT member of PDP
Since the governor’s collapse, his close aides,
family members and the Peoples Democratic
Party, PDP has been keeping the news from the
reach of the media to avoid any publicity
Gov. Godswill Akpabio’s ailment is a major blow to
the the camp of President Goodluck Jonathan as
the presidential election is just few days away. The
Governor has been missing from the presidential
campaign of the President. He is undoubtedly the
major backbone of the Peoples Democratic Party
Presidential Campaign Organization. His supports
to President Goodluck Jonathan is immeasurable.

Meanwhile, the opposition All Progressives
Congress, APC seems to to be waxing stronger in
Akwa-Ibom State in Akpabio’s absence. The APC is
capitalizing on the governor’s absence and the
public endorsement of the APC candidates by
former governor of the state and the Peoples
Democratic Party Board of Trustees, Victor Obong
Attah few days ago.

With this development, the APC could comfortably
win Akwa-Ibom State for its candidate, Major. Gen
Muhammadu Buhari.
Akpabio’s former Secretary to the State Government, Umana Okon Umana is the APC gubernatorial candidate in Akwa-Ibom State.

I wish Akpabio quick and full recovery if indeed he is ill. Yet we must ask, in light of all these PDP illnesses and death, desperado PDP how far? Karma is a b*1tch.
