The North is cursed with bad leadership. They have been in power more than any other zone and yet they remain the poorest and most confused. Why couldn't one of their leaders ensure that one or more of these minerals were fully explored to enhance the living standards of the ordinary man? Even if they do so today, we know what will happen. A few Alhajis will corner the wealth and others will gladly line up to eat breakfast in their houses. The northern people need to wake up and reject the system that pauperizes them and makes them content to wait for heaven before they can enjoy the good life. 1 Like |

Just imagine a scenario where all of these minerals are being mined simultaneously and agricultural at full capacity, our Gdp will be 10 times what it is today. tzoracle: It's a shame the north has all these and arable land. Yet they rely on cheating with bogus statistics of population in order to corner a lion share of oil wealth belonging to others. In the process creating massive crisis for the country while indirectly impoverishing itself. |
