Job Description

With strong understanding of the business, work closely with the business leaders to formulate and develop HR strategies and overseas implementation of HR programs and initiatives within the company’s code of conduct and organizational direction. The Position supports the achievement of the people management element of company’s goals through providing a strategic focus to people management issues; delivering high quality internal and external customer service; providing timely and effective employee communication/information; and contributing to the development of performance culture.





CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Policy Formulation
Formulates, implements and communicates Human Resource related policies within the context of TUG guidelines and Nigerian Labor Law

-Compensation and Rewards Management
Reviews, approves and implements compensation philosophy and strategies.

-HR Budget
Prepares and manages overall HR budget

-Learning and Development
Partner with Business Leaders and L&grin team to develop and implement learning and development programs
Review suitable development projects for senior executives and managers

-Performance Management
Develops, implements, communicates to managers on performance management Partner with L&grin team to ensure new managers and employees are trained for the Performance Management Process (PMP)
Monitors the effectiveness of the performance management system

-Employee Relations
Provides advice to managers/executives, and intervenes and mediates on HR-related issues in the context of fairness under TUG policy, culture, and Nigerian Labor Law

-People Management
Monitors and evaluates staff performance and managing requirements
Plans and recommends programs on career and personal growth and development

-External Networking
Represents company as the company representative in the Nigerian HR and business community

Qualifications


2-5 years of HR business partnering experience

A degree in Law or Human Resources or related degree;

Experience working in a human resources role of a company with not less than 20 employees will be added advantage

Good English communication skills
