El Rufai is silent
Kwankwaso is silent
Atiku is silent
IBB is silent
Emir of Sokoto is silent
Emir of Kano is silent
Dungeon rat Nyako is silent

From Zamafara to Borno not a single northern leader is campaigning for, or helping Buhari campaign. Atiku and El Rufai made silent appearances at his rallies but then what?

Meanwhile Tinubu's contingency is loud and proud. It's clear that the North doesn't trust Tinubu's arrangement but I've realized the only people actually campaigning for Buhari are ANC internet people, Amaechi, Rochas and Osinbanjo.

Even among the yorubas, Fashola is silent. Argebesola is silent, etc etc.

Bros you even noticed the silence on his part ? During the earlier days Elrufai and some of those guys you listed were crazy and ranting but now their voices are needed by the old man to help him shout they all kept mute not even in attendant to his rallies..its as if it is tinubu and mostly ewarriors that are doing their payed job, they are simply disapointed in the choice of the presidential flag bearer.

they keep silent because they know Tinubu want to play a big fools game with northern leader after winning election with buhari
all Atiku, Kwankasso, El-rufai e.t.c will not relivant again and buhari him self will just be there as figure head but the govt will be controllig by Jagabah tinubu.

This is so true.
They did not fight for tinubu and Buhari to benefit. Even Emir of Kano does not like Buhari. This is not the change they want.

I was discussing this with my brother in law. I think the north feels that Tinubu is anticipating the death of Buhari so that he can take over through is vassal Osibanjo. Here's a break down of what we concluded Tinubu wants based on evidence.

1. Control of APC: When APC was first born it was clear that the northerners were in control. Tinubu lost his ACN to the Npdp and CPC joinees that were calling the shots and deciding the major directional steps for the party. We all used to joke that Yorubas have bowed to Hausas again etc etc when APC was first formed. Tinubu is a master politician and knows it's better to hold your ground well then risk it all for new territory. Meaning Tinubu will never left got of the SW and ACN so he must control APC.

I. Fashola Factor: Tinubu wants this to be the end of Fashola's career. He made sure Fash wasn't vice because if Buhari dies, Fash becomes president and takes over APC. Fashola hates Tinubu and Tinubu hates Fashola so there's no grounds from letting the Lag governor raise any further. Fashola realizes tinubu has used and is ready to dump him and further political success by Fashola will threaten Tinubu's hold on Lagos; his primary cash cow and power center. This is why Fashola's man for governor was rejected by Tinubu who imposed his own man. This is why the weak and controllable Osinbanjo was pick as vice president.

There's also an Amaechi factor and Okorocha factor because the two are seen as loose canons that would be difficult to control due to the erratic behavior.

II. Fear of Northern Presidency: Whoever's the president controls the party. This is what Obasanjo failed to understand and what killed his political career. Tinubu won't allow it to happen to him. If Atiku had become the front runner, he would control the party. If Kwankwaso, the same. As of now, Buhari is old, weak and without a political structure of his own (just a mass of young supporters in the north). He is ok giving Buhari the ticket because Buhari will accept his terms and conditions. Buhari can't fund his own primary, and can't fund his own elections. Tinubu can step in under the terms that he call the shots. Tinubu had to kill the momentum northerners were gaining in the APC or else he would lose it, and knowing the way northerners treat power, would lose it forever.

2. Secure his Assets: Let not forget that before this election Tinubu made several secret meetings with GEJ. Tinubu wants to expand the resources he uses to fund his political career. GEJ used Ekiti to show Tinubu that if he isn't willing to negotiate, PDP will take back the SW. Before every election Tinubu makes deals to give PDP the SW as long as they leave the SW alone gubernatorially. Because Tinubu originally thought he has fully conquered the Yoruba, the likeliness of him negotiating with GEJ was low until PDP executed a show of force. And with someone as belligerent and formidable as Fayose. Tinubu doesn't want competition in the SW and Obasanjo's refusal to support the SW governors of his time left a vacuum that Tinubu filled with his own men. GEJ isn't Obasanjo and Tinubu realises that he needs to renegotiate.

They said the north are born to rule and want power by all means through Buhari, now the shameless op said all these northerners hate Buhari and dont support him. Which one are we gonna believe? You just open useless thread just to feel good. Pathetic.

Where did I say they hate Buhari? Do you need more time to try to save yourself from embarrassment?

They don't need to campaign for Buhari, they know Buhari will win the States of Bauchi, Gombe, Niger, Yobe, Borno, Jigawa, Kastina, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara and still lose the election by a landslide. Anything they say, will cost him votes in the states they hope to secure for victory. grin grin grin grin grin
