Pros And Cons Of Buying Facebook Likes & Twitter Followers by webcraftz(m): 12:46pm On Feb 09, 2015
Social media marketing is part of my job as an online entrepreneur. Many questions has been raised regarding buying of Facebook likes, Twitter followers, Youtube views, etc. If such practice is worth taking.

I sell these services and just want to shed some light which I believe will benefit everyone.

When it comes to Facebook pages and Twitter handles, having likes/followers is vital. It will increase the visibility of your posts and provide more opportunities for interaction, advertising and spreading your message.

As with any social network, the more likes you have, the quicker you can build that number as the reach is greater.

This all sounds great, but what if you’re just getting started with any of these social networks?
What if you currently have 0 likes/followers?
Should you buy likes/followers to give you a jump start?

Here are the pros and cons you must know about buying these services.

PROS
1.) If your page has a short term goal and simply needs numbers, then buying likes/followers would help you achieve that goal. If you are a musician for example, and you need likes for popularity sake alone. This can help.

2.)If you already have thousands of likes, then an extra couple of thousand can easily be added without looking suspicious to your current followers.

3.)Your content is likely to go more viral or popular if you already have an established fan base. Most people are sheep and they like to follow what’s buzzing. This strategy can in time attract more people to your fan base.

CONS
1.)You won’t have plenty interaction on your page.
One of the best elements to a Facebook page is the interaction that comes with it.

Just because your total likes will be higher, doesn’t mean there will be users who like and comment on your posts. This is because most likes don't come from users who are ready to be engaged.

2.) Your likes won’t continue to grow.

When you click the number of likes on a page, you are presented with some information on the demographics of the typical fan and a graph showing the growth of likes.

You will see a huge spike once you purchase the likes, this spike can then fade out to nothing. To avoid this you may have to buy more likes when you notice the drop.
Or, better still start promoting your fanpage the right way.

3.) You'll be promoting shortcuts and shortcuts can lead to your account being deactivated in the long run.

Yes, depending on how those likes were gotten (real/uninterested users or fake bots from software), your account can be deactivated if Facebook/Twitter finds out those likes are bots.

Feel free to share your contribution if you have any.

Regards..
Joseph
