Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who has lost fate in the current Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, intends to get him booted and replace him with “family,” so to say; someone who will never betray or embarrass the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

Officials close to the Nigerian government have informed us that the Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan will replace him with Professor Nahzeem Olufemi Mimiko who is the currently shortlisted candidate.

The immediate brother of Ondo State PDP Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko; Prof. Nahzeem Olufemi Mimiko is the Vice chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University and has a straight academician record.

An attendee of the Jonathan staged National conference, better remembered as the “sleeping conference,” Prof. Femi Mimiko is an in-house man who president Jonathan is confident will not betray the party and his presidential ambition.

I think that Jonathan's campaign group either forfeits pursuing the courts to disqualify Buhari and change Jega. Or leave Jega and continue to distract the opposition with court cases.

Some political analyst have been saying since CONFAB is trying to remain in power without having to go for election, he is just looking for mischievous ways to elongate his tenure and spend the six years he suggested at the beginning of his administration . With the way the scripts is playing out, there won't be an election on march 28th especially if jega is booted out before then ( do you expect the replacement to conduct an election less than 3 months after appointment , when INEC even appears to be in disarray).
