4 things that shows that an APC Government will take Nigeria 40 Years backward

Buhari says he intends to Stabilise the global price of Crude Oil and the economy Using the military !

GEJ created the sovereign wealth fund so that we are prepared for rainy days such as this period

Any right thinking person knows that GMB's  statement is the height of illiteracy !
Secondly, except he intends to introduce communism via the back door by  drafting  soldiers into the market to tell Chinedu or Mama Iyabo how much to sell his jeans trouser or a plate of  amala this is  simply impracticable!

2. APC and Osinbanjo said they Intend to reduce the import tariffs  on imported Cars

GEJ's  Auto policy has made global auto players to take Nigeria seriously
Today  Innoson, Kia, Styer, Nissan and Now Toyota have set up assembly / Manufacturing Plants in our country, saving us billions in Forex and creating Jobs for our brothers and sisters!
Under GEJ our food imports have been reduced by almost 80%, now APC intend to take us backwards by reintroducing the doctrine of consumption!‎

3. Osinbanjo and the APC  intends to fire up power Plants using LPG! Yes LPG

For a Professor to want to Use cooking Gas  to fire up power plants shows how shallow the thinking within the APC is, ‎

"Industrially methane has 2 means of being transported, by pipelines when the point of use is less than 5,000 km and as liquefied natural gas by ships followed by re gasification when the point of use is more than 5, 000 km from the point of production. The gas supplied by trucks is liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used for domestic cooking. No country in the world bases her power generation on LPG. Moreover Nigeria does not have the facility to produce adequate LPG to cater for domestic cooking, so using LPG for power generation is out of the question. So Osinbajo promising to supply gas to power plants with trucks is simply talking about something that is not possible" -Punch

Under the Gas master plan GEJ has succeeded in laying most of the pipelines that will supply gas  to our power plants !

APC needs to educate it's aspirants on how and what is used in powering the power generating  plants  and save themselves from further embarrassment!

4. When Buhari Came to  Power he scrapped subsidised feeding in Nigerian Universities!

Today Buhari and his team intend to Feed school children with 100 billion naira Monthly!

This is a fantastic idea on face value until you consider their antecedents with  facts below !

The Addis Ababa light rail commissioned recently covers 46Km at a cost of $475 Million or N71.2B.

The Abuja - Kaduna light rail will commence operation in March 2015 covering 180Km built at a cost of $500 Million or N80B.

Now consider these APC projects ‎

The completion date of the Port Harcourt Mono Rail project is unknown. It covers 4Km and has gulped $1.2 Billion or N180B.

The completion of the Lagos Blue Light Rail project is also unknown. It covers 57Km and has consumed $1.39 Billion or N208B.‎

Not also forgetting the Fact that it was Buhari who's terminated the initial Lagos Metro (rail) project in 1984 choosing  to pay 550 Million USD as Fines and penalties  instead of Paying 450 million USD to complete a project that would have transformed transportation in Lagos state.

APC thrives on lies and misinformation

Before you waste your vote on Buhari/ Osinbanjo and the thieves that surround them  analyse every information they have dished out and in doing the needful  let your conscience direct you !

Thank you for your time and God Bless Nigeria

This thread is for half educated PDP youths.
1. GEJ did not create sovereign wealth fund. Jonathan won't know what SWF was even if you put him in a classroom and forcefed O level economics into his brain for 4 years. Jonathan could never have had such an idea and would probably not ever have it in his other life. Sovereign wealth fund started from OBJ who bought the idea from either of Soludo or Okonjo Iweala who copied it from the GCC countries (Dubai dem) who copied it from British bankers. Please seek understanding and read wide. The fund in Obj' s time was well funded and had many other stakeholders contributing including Nigerians in diaspora and some rich state governments but if has since been looted by the Jonathan administration along with the Excess Crude Account. In fact every pile of money standing has been looted by the government including people's pension funds.

2. Reducing import tariffs on cars is something I DISAGREE with APC about but I suspect it is all due to figures on local production capacity. We are not producing up to 80000 cars a year but local demand is probably 300000 for now so there is room to fill I terms of capacity while the big auto companies establish properly their factories
If you don't reduce tariffs temporarily, these cars will be smuggled in from Benin Republic and Niger anyway and government will.lose the revenue.

3. LPG for power generation is a good idea. It is a product that comes from the refineries which the APC government has promised 80% availability using Nigerian engineers. Jonathan has presently run down the refineries so that his TAN members can continue to steal N1 trillion a year.
Power generation is currently hampered by the same natural gas that you are promoting. Almost every three months all power generation pipelines are sabotaged and because of this power generation has always dropped below 3500MW. LPG represents a temporary intervention before the vandals can be curtailed and Hydro power generation from Mambila and coal plants at Enugu which Buhari has promised come on stream.

4. You dint know enough to talk about rail. First of all Abuja Kaduna is not light rail. It is a new standard gauge medium speed (they are calling it erroneously high speed) rail line being built from scratch with Chinese money, Chinese steel, Chinese locomotives (possibly diesel) and Chinese coaches. The money is coming from China EXIM bank and it is good business for the Chinese and commendable effort from Jonathan's gov t. Where you get that cost of the project only God knows.

As for school feeding. It is a program most western countries support heartily. It will cause a boom in the agricultural industry, food processing, Mr Biggs/Tantalizer type businesses catering to schools and boosting Nigeria's GDP by as much as 3% above the growth rate now. Employment will be generated phenomenally. When the agricultural industry supports this for two years they develop scale economics to compete globally and Nigeria will become an exporter of many food items.

5. The Portharcourt light rail and both blue and red lines of light rail in Lagos will be completed in the life of the incoming APC administrations. The federal government has not supported the projects starting from the cruel Obj to the crooked Jonathan. Even the most important road from MMA International airport into Lagos which is the first impression of Nigeria has been rejected by the low minded, parochial PDP government an that is a Federal road.

Kai mana
1. What OBJ started was excess crude account. SWF was started by the clueless president. Why do you now select what to ascribe to him in his government?
2. thank God you agreed that no 2 is policy somersault grin
3. Those in the said that it is a very expensive project. The cost of producing the 20,000 mw that he promised will cost more than 15000% of the present cost. You can't defend this sir. It shows they have no plans on how to get things done.
4. This one, you are in agreement. Thanks
5. What help will the federal government give again? The FG approved the loan application by Lagos state. They have spent 208B with not much to show for it. Why are you dragging the FG into this.

The points raised by the OP are classic.

Very good rebuttal points.

Only thing GMB can lead well is a herd of Fulani cattle and not complex economies of today.

Truth be told, APC in all its ramifications and components, has nothing to give to Nigeria. There are alot more points to be added here.
PDP isnt perfect but it is far better than a myopic exmilitary dictator which global economics has left behind. Osibanjo should know that he is nothing but a side dressing......GMB will never listen to him.....if they ''ever'' win.
Will be back later with my points.
